ACT and SAT: 99+ percentile I have been tutoring peers on standardized testing and college essays for two years, but I would like to begin helping more students in the Chicago area earn high scores. My strategies earned me admission to my top schools including Harvard, Yale, and Stanford, and I would like to be able to help aspirational students do the same. I customize lessons to suit each student's needs. I will recommend preparation strategies that are unique to the student's previous test-taking experience, familiarity with the subject material, speed, and target score. I will refer students to useful study materials. Although most knowledgable tutors are able to explain questions and teach content, I am also able to teach section-specific tricks and skills for both the SAT and ACT that give students the edge beyond the core material of the exam. Before being a college essay and standardized test tutor, I worked with young students in an after school program at the Ray School. My time at the Ray School has made me adept at working with children of all ages.
