Teaching is something that comes naturally to me, and I often find myself educating my friends in a very casual way through the natural flow of conversation. I believe that through the spread of information and knowledge, we can inspire and enable each other to change the world around us. I am currently studying at Harvard College, pursuing a Bachelor of Science and leaning towards a concentration on Mechanical Engineering. Tutoring has been a lifelong hobby of mine, which has blossomed into a source of enjoyment and income. This has been the case since high school, where I tutored math and Spanish to my fellow students. My specialties are history, writing, science, mathematics, and Spanish. I also am extremely proficient at helping students prepare for the ACT. There are plenty of other subjects that I am willing to tutor students in, but those are my strongest areas. I like to provide my students with a fairly rigorous foundation of basic concepts, but as we move into more intermediate and advanced topics within a subject, I tend to allow my student to explore and experiment on their own. Rather than give them the answers point-blank, I tend to observe the student closely, and ask questions in order to deepen their knowledge.
